LA INVISIBLE STUDIO
"The Invisible" Lighting Design Studio was the brainchild of Maria Güell Ordis, set up in 2002 and consolidated in 2004.
"The Invisible" Lighting Design Studio is made up of a small team which liaises with a large network of regular collaborators - professionals from various disciplines such as architecture, urban planning, graphic design, electronics, control systems and assembly technicians – who, over the years, have become key players in our overall vision.
In our studio we develop all kinds of projects related to lighting, specifically prioritising those that spark our interest and involve new challenges. We place great emphasis on investigating and experimenting with how light can be used with other creative disciplines, aiming to become more and more aware of how lighting and supporting technologies should be used .
We understand projected light as an interactive material that acts on, and relates to, other materials in the space it illuminates. Current technology´s ability to control and adapt light is also taken into account, in order to create spaces of the greatest significance with the least intervention.
